A few years ago, inspired by her origins, the chef felt the need to give back to her community a little of her conquests. That’s when a special idea came out of the oven, the “institute of professional training” for disadvantaged youth in the community of Trancoso, supported from the beginning by Electrolux
In 2009, at the Cultural Center of the Quadrado, as the Trancoso Center is known, Morena began to share her experiences and train new cooking assistants, transmitting the majority of all principles of gastronomy: pride and commitment to what is done.
In 2012, Morena actually establishes Capim Santo Institute in São Paulo, and in partnership with a public school, Escola Municipal Celso Leite, begin the training of young people in the area.
Moreover, through Capim Santo Institute, Morena signs partnerships with other Non profit entities to disseminate her experience. Since March 2012 she has been curator and teacher at the André Franco Vive Institute in São Paulo where 15 young people participate in the 1st Basic Course of Culinary Training Techniques.

In 2012, Morena actually establishes Capim Santo Institute in São Paulo, inside the Capim Santo Restaurant. The initiative is in partnership with a public school, Escola Municipal Celso Leite.
Since 2013, Capim Santo Institute is ahead of the Curatorship of the Training Course for 400 youths in the Verdescola Institute in Vila do Sahy, São Paulo Coast.
André Franco Vive Unit
Since 2012, Morena is the Curator and teacher of Instituto Andre Franco Vive, were people from the community participate in the Basic Gastronomy Course.
